DGC was founded in 1989 as a general contracting firm that established close relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. We became known throughout the area for constructing buildings with pride, honesty and fairness. Most of our projects came from personal referrals and repeat customers. As a result, DGC grew from a handful of projects to a large and varied selection of projects today that would be the pride of many larger firms. What began as a family operation in the Tidewater Hampton Roads region is now an expanding contracting firm that has continued to build upon our legacy of progress. For more than 25 years, we have maintained our position in the region because of one thing: teamwork. Through sound management and fair practices, we continue to deliver the finest in craftsmanship performed within the agreed cost and time period. Our long standing tradition of high quality craftsmanship, personal commitment to each project, and exceptional customer service has established us as a company that is dependable and trustworthy.
